Retired footballer with Canberra Raiders Rugby League team.

How old are you?

32 years old.

Where were you born?

Junee.

Where did you grow up?

Junee.

Describe your cultural/religious/ethnic family background

Normal Catholic family. I have seven sisters plus Mum and Dad.

Do you know any other languages? If so what are they?

No.

What is your favourite place in the world and why?

Australia. It's a great country with great people. Look at the spirit that the Olympics generated. Simply amazing.

Have you ever experienced or witnessed racism? How did it make you feel?

Only occasionally on the sporting field. It was heat of the moment stuff but I certainly don't endorse it.

What did you do about it?

At the time there wasn't much I could do about it. Most sports now have tribunals which deal with it which is good.

What advice would you give kids experiencing racism?

You are who you are. Be proud of that.

What kind of Australia would you like to see for our children?

I reckon we're on the right track. This is the best country in the world. I get the feeling that every day we work that little bit better as a nation.
