What do you do?

Performer - Singer/Songwriter.

How old are you?

30 years old.

Where did you grow up?

Sydney, Australia.

Describe your cultural/religious/ethnic family background

Jamaican, American, Scottish, Australian.

Have you ever experienced or witnessed racism? How did it make you feel?

Yes, I have and in many different forms.
Kinda strange, I had to not take it personally. I place myself on the outside so that I can see it all from a different view.

What advice would you give kids experiencing racism?

That's a hard one to answer as every case is going to be different. I can only talk about what I have gone through and say that it has only made me stronger and wiser.

What kind of Australia would you like to see for our children?

The one we have right now is pretty much how I would like it to stay - multicultural. Australia to me is a very special place and when I'm here as well as away, I always think back to my youth and the happy times I spent here.
