Title:Working Together - A Guide for Line Managers Supporting Diversity in the Workplace

Abstract:This support package compliments the Aboriginal Employment and a Career Action Plan and has been developed to assist line managers with implementation and the meeting of commitments identified to increse the recruitment and retention of Aboriginal staff and to provide a supportive and welcoming work environment. It is anticipated that line managers will utilise Education Department support systems and strategies identified in this booklet and develop site specific programs to promote a working environment that encourages, supports and respects Aboriginal people and their culture.
