National Reconciliation Week 2018
2018 Theme… Don’t Keep History a Mystery – Learn. Share. Grow.
The week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can join the national reconciliation effort.
This year, we invite all Australians to Learn, Share, and Grow – by exploring our past, learning more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, and developing a deeper understanding of our national story.
National Reconciliation Week 2018 is a key activity in our strategy to support Australians in making progress in the reconciliation dimension Historical Acceptance.
National Reconciliation Week is held annually from 27 May – 3 June. The dates that bookend the week commemorate the anniversaries of the 1967 referendum and the historic Mabo decision, respectively.
