Values Education in Intercultural and Global Contexts

Four new values education resources, funded by the Australian Government, have just been released focusing on values in intercultural and global contexts. They are designed to support primary and secondary schools foster explicit values learning, inclusiveness, and intercultural understanding. They are:

  • World of Values, a student-centred website offering learning-enriched digital resources for exploring values through film, photography and learning objects.
  • Side by Side, a big book for the early childhood classroom.
  • Values-centred Schools - A Guide, a website resource to support school leaders in developing a whole school approach to values education.
  • Teaching for Intercultural Understanding: Professional Learning Program, a professional learning resource for teachers to support their work as values educators.
