2006 National Refugee Week Writing and Artwork Competition

Triumphant! International is a project created for refugees by refugees and friends of refugees to celebrate the triumph of refugees in overcoming adversity and creating new lives in new countries. The project represents refugee communities throughout Australia and the world.

With STARTTS (NSW Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors),
Triumphant! International is sponsoring a 2006 National Refugee Week Writing and Artwork Competition. Details are on their website at http://www.triumphant.org.au/activities.html

"Coming to Australia as a refugee, I needed many Australians to help me and was very thankful for it. But the biggest reward for me was when I was able to stop being a victim and started helping other Australians and refugees".

  • Goranka, President, Triumphant! International
