Dr Hans Blix visits Cabramatta High School
Dr Hans Blix was awarded the Sydney Peace Prize in November, 2007. While in Sydney to receive the prize, Dr Blix - Swedish diplomat, international human rights lawyer, weapons inspector and disarmament campaigner - addressed guests, including students from a number of schools, who gathered for a special event hosted by Cabramatta High School.

This resource has two parts. In the first, Dr Blix speaks to students about his youth, about why he chose to work for peace and about how peace can be achieved through cooperation and respect for the rights of others. The second part deals with how students from diverse backgrounds can contribute to promoting peace and harmony.
