Anti-Racism Contact Officer
Anti-Racism Contact Officers are identified officers in each school who
receive training from the ACT Department of Education and Community Services in
techniques to combat racism in schools including interview techniques to employ
in the resolution of complaints.
Executive Officer, Support and Training
This officer is responsible for training Anti-Racism Contact Officers (ARCOs)
to counter racism in schools and workplaces. The Executive Officer supports
ARCOs in dealing with complaints of racism and monitors reports of incidents
recorded at schools and workplaces.
