Learning English in Aboriginal Schools

This curriculum package, which includes the video Two Worlds-One School, is designed to raise questions and issues as a staff discussion about using and learning English. The video examines how Indigenous and non-Indigenous staff may plan and work together.

Social Education Approved Courses of Study

The Northern Territory Board of Studies has produced Social Education Approved Courses of Study which address a range of issues relating to understanding and valuing differences within the community.

Team Teaching in Aboriginal Schools

A practical guide written to assist both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal teachers working in team teaching situations so they may plan and work co-operatively to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Whole School Anti-Racism Project

This valuable resource was developed by the New South Wales Department of Education and Training. It has been trialed in some Northern Territory schools and is highly recommended as a way to plan and implement a whole school approach to addressing racism issues.
