Harassment Policy and Grievance Procedures
The Northern Territory Department of Education Harassment Policy and
Grievance Procedures are summarised in the Clues and Cues information booklet.
This covers grievance procedures, harassment complaint processes, staff
performance process and mediation approaches used within the Department. These
processes and approaches are based on the Northern Territory Anti-Discrimination
Act, Northern Territory Public Sector Employment and Management Act, Employment
Instructions, Human Resource Policies and Procedures Manual and Grievance
Settling Procedures.
School Harassment Policies and Procedures
Schools have their own policies and procedures to address issues and
complaints of racial discrimination. These policies are based on Departmental
frameworks.
