Aboriginal Employment and Career Development Strategy
This policy contains details on specific strategies to increase and retain
Indigenous staff at all levels throughout the Northern Territory Department of
Education.
Indigenous Education Strategic Plan
This plan contains outcomes, strategies, programs, activities, targets and
baseline data. It contains sections which address cross cultural awareness,
anti-racism issues and support for staff and students' enhanced appreciation and
understanding of Indigenous cultures and languages.
Multicultural Education Policy
This policy states the importance of recognising the diversity of the many
groups of people who live in the Northern Territory. The policy also provides a
framework to assist schools in their planning of a variety of approaches which
acknowledges and values the diverse nature of the Territory.
