Monitoring and reporting

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Networks

Through established networks within the community, feedback around a range of issues and educational priorities can be monitored and reported to the Council, which is linked directly to the Minister for Education.

Adaptation of the English as a Second Language (ESL) Scales (Torres Strait District)

ESL Scales provide a means of assessing and reporting literacy development of students for whom English is a second language. The Torres Strait District has adapted the Scales to ensure that the measurement tool is inclusive of Torres Strait Islander students who are living in the Torres Strait island communities.

Indigenous Education Strategic Initiatives Program (IESIP) Funding Agreement Report

A formal contract between the State and Commonwealth (whereby the Commonwealth has agreed to pay money to the Recipient Education Queensland) which is to be spent on initiatives aimed at achieving the performance targets identified in the funding schedule. The Agreement outlines the Agreed Performance Indicators and annual financial performance reporting requirements by the Department.
