and in the Aboriginal Employment and Career Plan. Collection of data and regular
reporting occurs through the EEO/Diversity Committees. The collected data
includes such areas as recruitment and complaints.
Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody
The Education Department of Western Australia (EDWA) provides an annual
report on progress in implementing the recommendations of this report.
Indigenous Education Strategic Initiatives Program (IESIP) Performance
Monitoring
The Education Department of Western Australia provides regular reports to
the Department of Education, Training and Youth Affairs (DETYA) on its progress
in meeting the performance targets set out in this funding agreement.
Yearly Report to the Office of the Director of Equal Opportunity in Public
Employment
The Department is obliged to provide to the Director annual demographic
data on staff by equal employment opportunity (EEO) groups including women,

November 1999.
Aboriginal Education and Training Council (AETC)
All education and training providers in Western Australia participate in a
monitoring and evaluation process established in conjunction with the Aboriginal

been developed to:
- identify to what extent the plan's outcomes are being achieved
- inform future planning
- provide information to the Aboriginal
community.
The WA Public Sector Code of Ethics
The Code of Ethics specifies the minimum standards of conduct and
