In early 2009, violent attacks against Indian students in Melbourne began to increase. One woman decided to start a simple online campaign against racism, encouraging people around Australia to celebrate the presence of Indians in our society by eating Indian food. The campaign quickly became nation-wide, while public debate grew over how truly effective it could be.
